How Booking Works

We want getting started to feel simple. Here’s what you can expect when you choose Birthing Your Baby Doula Services.

1. Schedule Your Free Consultation

We’ll meet and talk about your pregnancy, your hopes for birth, the kind of support you’re looking for, and answer any questions you have. There’s no pressure or obligation to book.

2. Reserve Your Due-Date Window

If you decide we’re the right fit, you’ll sign your doula agreement and submit your 50% retainer to reserve your due-date window.

​

3. Meet for Your Prenatal Visits

We’ll spend time getting to know you, discussing your birth preferences, practicing comfort measures, answering questions, and preparing you and your partner for labor and birth.

4. We Go On Call

Beginning at 37 weeks, your doula is on call for your birth. We’ll stay connected as labor approaches so you know when and how to reach us.

​

5. Your Baby's Birth Day

When labor begins, we’ll join you at the appropriate time and provide continuous emotional and physical support throughout labor and birth while supporting your choices and working alongside your birth team.

6. After Baby Arrives

We’ll stay with you during the immediate postpartum period and reconnect for your postpartum visit to check in, talk about your birth experience, and support you as you settle in with your new baby.
