A Mother + Daughter Doula Team

Hi! We’re Kathy and Liz. We're a mother-daughter team with a shared love for motherhood, babies, and supporting women through one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives.

​

Our story really began long before either of us became doulas.

​

Katherine is a mother of seven and grandmother to 35. After a career as an ABA therapist, she is entering retirement and beginning a new chapter doing something close to her heart—supporting mothers and families as they welcome their babies.

​

Elizabeth is Katherine's daughter, a wife and mother of six who has always had a special love for pregnancy, birth, and newborn babies. Through her own pregnancies, she spent countless hours learning about natural birth, comfort techniques, and preparing the body and mind for labor.

From Mother & Daughter to Doula Partners

We’ve always genuinely loved spending time together. Years ago, we even attended Oakland Community College together—and these days, we're just as happy spending an evening together watching a Hallmark movie.

​

So when we decided to complete BEST Doula Training together, becoming a mother-daughter doula team felt like a natural next chapter in our story.

Between us, our family includes 13 children and 35 grandchildren, and we've experienced firsthand that no two mothers, babies, births, or families are exactly alike.

That's one of the things we love most about doula work. We aren't here to tell you what your birth should look like. We're here to listen, help you understand your options, prepare alongside you, support your choices, and provide calm, continuous encouragement as you welcome your baby.

Two Doulas. One Heart for Families.

​

One of the special things about working with a mother-daughter team is that we're not strangers paired together by an agency. We know each other deeply, communicate easily, and trust one another.

​

We also serve as each other's primary backup doulas whenever possible. That means there's another doula who knows our approach and is connected to the care you're receiving should backup support ever be needed.

​

Our hope is that when you invite us into such an important season of your life, you don't feel like you've simply hired a doula. We hope you feel like you have someone in your corner.
